Renowned Ghanaian actor, director, satirist, talk show host, and author, Kwaku Sintim-Misa, popularly known as “KSM,” has raised concerns about what he perceives as misplaced priorities by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

During his critique, KSM highlighted the importance of the government aligning its priorities correctly. Specifically, he spoke out against the National Cathedral project, stating that such endeavors are unnecessary.

KSM argued that allocating millions of dollars for the construction of a National Cathedral is a misstep, emphasizing that there are more meaningful ways to honor God. He expressed that God is not petty and suggested that funds could be better utilized for essential projects, such as building health facilities to save lives.

“We’ve made God a petty God by thinking we can build a million-dollar cathedral to please him. There are far more important projects monies could be spent on to honor God like building a health facility to save mothers,” stated KSM.

In a tweet shared by GHOne TV, KSM was quoted as disagreeing with the construction of a national cathedral when there are children going hungry. This further emphasizes his stance on the matter.

Kwaku Sintim-Misa’s outspoken views on this issue have sparked a discussion about the government’s priorities and the allocation of resources towards projects like the National Cathedral.
