‘What do they want?’ – Togbe Afede angry at protesting Hearts of Oak fans

Hearts of Oak Executive Board Chairman, Togbe Afede, has expressed his displeasure with a section of the club’s fans who protested against the board earlier this week.

Togbe Afede expressed surprise at the reasons for the protest, highlighting the numerous infrastructural developments that have been completed under his leadership.

During a tour of the club’s Phobia House on Tuesday, he stated, “Yes, I heard that some people were going on a demonstration yesterday and I asked myself, ‘what do they want? What do they want?’

“What do they want that we haven’t done? We’ve done everything. After all this, the only thing that Hearts don’t have is a stadium.

“We are streets ahead of all our counterparts. I would even say that we will come out as one of the very best in the whole of the subregion.”

While Togbe’s off-field work has been evident during his decade in charge of the club, the on-field results have not been as impressive.

The club has only won one league title and two FA Cups.
