Ghana midfielder Evelyn Badu excited about signing for FC Fleury in France

21-year-old Ghana international Evelyn Badu has shared her excitement about joining FC Fleury 91 Feminines.

Badu took to Twitter to announce her move to her new club, stating, “New home @FCF91_feminines 🙏🏾”.

After playing for Avaldsnes in Norway for two seasons, Badu has now signed a contract with FC Fleury 91 Feminines that will keep her at the club until 2025.

During her time at Avaldsnes, Badu scored two goals in 25 appearances, but unfortunately, the club was relegated from the Toppserien last season.

At her unveiling, Badu was accompanied by Cameroon international Bernadette Ngaseh Mbele.

Badu’s impressive performances have earned her recognition, including being named the 2022 CAF Women Youth Player of the Year and the CAF Women Interclub Player of the Year.

Having represented Ghana at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in France, Badu is familiar with international competition, despite the team’s early exit in the group stage.

Joining FC Fleury 91 Feminines in France represents a new chapter in Badu’s career, as she aims to further her development and success in women’s football.
