The Public Relations Officer of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo, has expressed confidence in the club’s new head coach Aboubakar Ouattara, stating that the club believes he will lead the Phobians to the next level.

Ouattara, who previously served as the Technical Director for Wydad Club Athletic, has signed a two and a half year deal with the Rainbow club and is set to take charge of training ahead of the second round of the season.

Speaking to Asempa FM, Opare Addo said, “We have confidence in him that he would be able to help us to move forward looking at the work he has done previously. Once we throw our support behind him, he will be successful with us.”

Hearts of Oak will be entering the second round of the Ghana Premier League with Ouattara as their new head coach, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous work with Asante Kotoko and King Faisal in the Ghana football scene almost two decades ago.

Ouattara will be taking over from Dutchman Martinus Koopman and caretaker coach Abdul Bashiru, becoming the third man to lead the technical department of Hearts during the season.
