Ghanaian socialite and singer, Hajia4Reall, has recently faced some serious legal trouble.

According to reports, she is facing a possible five-year jail term in the U.S. over a romance scam case. This all comes after the 31-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of conspiring to receive stolen money, and agreeing to pay the monies back.

After her guilty plea, Hajia4Reall has addressed the issue on social media. She confirmed the news on her Instagram page, stating that she had learned her lessons from the prosecution and was ready to move on to the next phase of her life.

This news comes after months of legal proceedings. Hajia4Reall has been facing prosecution in the U.S. since May 2023, after being arrested in the UK in November 2022. She was eventually extradited to America for prosecution and has been under surveillance ever since.

The charge of conspiring to receive stolen money carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison, and she will also have to pay forfeiture in the amount of $2,164,758.41 and make restitution in the same amount.

In response to the legal situation, Hajia4Reall recently deleted all her content on Instagram as it was reported that she embarked on a social media break. Some have questioned whether this was a hack, but her publicist confirmed that it was a planned decision to return to school.
