The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has made it clear that his administration is committed to ensuring that all of the country’s national teams achieve success. Okraku emphasized that achieving success takes time and effort, and he urged Ghanaians to support his administration as they work to bring Ghana back to its former glory in football.

Okraku revealed that the technical directorate has enlisted five scouts in each of the ten regions of Ghana to identify talented young players for the U-15 and U-20 national teams. These scouts have undergone training and have been responsible for scouting players for international tournaments. This new approach to talent identification has already shown promise, with the success of the players scouted for the recent international friendly tournaments in Serbia.

Furthermore, Okraku outlined plans to enroll the most promising talent at boarding schools and eventually have them represent the national teams. He also disclosed that the same scouts will be tasked with identifying players for the U-15 and U-17 national teams at the school and district levels.
