The cause of death of Nick and Aaron Carter sister, Bobbie Jean Carter, has been recently revealed, nearly two months after her passing at 41.

An investigation has confirmed that Bobbie Jean’s death was caused by intoxication due to the combined effects of fentanyl and methamphetamine, according to the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner in Florida. The medical examiner ruled the death accidental.

The late Bobbie Jean was reportedly laid to rest on Saturday, January 6th, in Florida during a private funeral service, leaving behind a family that adores her.

She was mourned by her family members, including her mother, her young daughter, Bella, and her siblings, Angel and Nick. Bobbie Jean’s mother, Jane Carter disclosed the devastating news of her daughter’s tragic passing.

First responders arrived at Bobbie’s Tampa, Florida, residence to find her unresponsive in a bathroom. She was declared dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.

At the time of her passing, Bobbie Jean was on probation for cocaine possession, having a history of substance abuse and addiction issues throughout most of her life.

Despite the hardships Bobbie Jean faced in her life, her sister Angel Carter has spoken out, sharing an emotional tribute to her late sister.

Life had not been kind to her sister Bobbie Jean, says Angel, as she posted several childhood photos as a tribute to her sister. The tribute highlights the struggles and hardships her family faced over the years, many of which were brought on by substance abuse, but which Jane also attributes to the traumas and burdens that children can face when not granted the innocence and sweetness of childhood.
