Former Big Brother Naija contestant Doyin has recently spoken out in support of requesting a DNA test from a partner, calling it a painful yet reasonable decision.
The ongoing debate surrounding paternity fraud online has prompted Doyin to share her thoughts on the matter.
Doyin believes that men have the right to ask for a DNA test in relationships, as they should be able to make an informed decision about fathering a child, regardless of biological connection.
In a message to women, she advised them not to react negatively if asked to verify their child’s paternity, emphasizing that it is not a bad thing for a partner to request a DNA test.
“The rate of paternity fraud is too high for you to think emotionally if your partner asks for a DNA test. It’s a painful request but it’s understandable,” Doyin stated.
She encouraged individuals to approach the topic of DNA testing rationally rather than emotionally, recognizing the significance of the issue.
