Black Stars forward, Mohammed Kudus, has expressed his gratitude to past Ghanaian football legends for paving the way for current and upcoming players.
The talented attacker recently received two prestigious awards at the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards.
During the 48th SWAG Awards, Mohammed Kudus was named Sports Personality of the Year and Footballer of the Year in the Foreign category. In response to these accolades, Kudus dedicated the awards to the past Ghanaian footballers who have contributed to the growth of the sport in the country.
In a post on social media, Kudus thanked SWAG and Ghana, stating, “This is to the legends of our game, you walked so we could run.”
He also had a message for young talents, encouraging them to persist in pursuing their dreams.
Kudus wrote, “To all Ghanaian pro & aspiring footballers, may your dreams be daunting but be dauntless in pursuit of these dreams.”
The forward’s success serves as an inspiration to the next generation of Ghanaian footballers.
