The latest update on Arsenal’s injured players has been provided by manager Mikel Arteta. In a positive development, Thomas Partey has begun training on the field as he continues to progress well. Unfortunately, the midfielder suffered a setback ahead of the match against Liverpool.

Thomas Partey has been out of action since October 2023 following an injury sustained during a training session before their Champions League match against Sevilla.

During the pre-match conference prior to their game against Burnley at Turf Moor, Arteta confirmed that Partey’s recovery is on track and he has returned to the field. However, Jurrien Timber and Thomas Partey are still facing long-term absences, though there is hope for their return in the near future.

Arteta gave an update on the team’s injuries, stating, “Some of them have been progressing better than others. We have a training session again today. Some of them have done a few bits this week, and I am positive that we will have a few back for tomorrow.”

Regarding the completely ruled-out players for tomorrow’s match, Arteta said, “At the moment, no.”

He also provided positive news on those with longer-term injuries, saying, “No, there’s not big setbacks on any of those injuries, and Thomas Partey is progressing really well. I don’t want to say too much, but he’s looking very good, and he’s already on the field.”
