Youthful Ghanaian star Kwame Poku made a significant impact by scoring a crucial goal to help Peterborough United claim a win over Exeter City in the English League Two.

The 22-year-old attacker from Ghana stole the show by finding the back of the net for Peterborough in the highly-anticipated match on Saturday.

It was English forward Ephron Mason-Clark who kicked off the scoring for Peterborough, scoring just four minutes into the game at the Weston Homes Stadium.

However, it was the Ghanaian international who emerged as the hero by scoring the winning goal in the 68th minute for Peterborough.

Peterborough currently sits in 5th place on the league table with 62 points from 34 matches as they strive for promotion to the Championship next season.
