Jordan Ayew, a forward for the Ghana national team, recently opened up about the challenges of playing away at Crystal Palace.
After a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park, where Ayew scored the opening goal, he spoke about the difficulty of playing at Crystal Palace.
“It’s always complicated to come here. You start off with a game that’s a bit complicated and direct, and you speed up to the challenge and you manage to get a goal, and they equalise on a set-piece,” he said.
“It’s just one where we had to get something out of the game, and we managed to get a point, so we’re happy and move on to the next one.”
In addition, Ayew will be working under a new manager at Crystal Palace following Roy Hodgson’s departure.
The 76-year-old manager, who signed Ayew for Palace in 2018, helped the Ghanaian player excel on the field.
The Eagles have now welcomed Oliver Glasner, the former Eintracht Frankfurt boss, as their new manager.
