FC Köln’s hopes for the upcoming encounter against Hoffenheim have suffered a setback with news that Ghanaian prospect Justin Diehl remains sidelined due to health issues. According to a recent report from GEISSBLOG, Diehl continues to be affected by a flu-like infection that has kept him out of action since the Frankfurt match.

Efforts to regain fitness have been ongoing, but Diehl was unable to participate in Thursday’s training session, indicating the seriousness of his condition.

Even if Diehl were to recover in time for Sunday’s fixture, his lack of training raises doubts about his availability to face TSG Hoffenheim.
