Al Ahly, the Egyptian football giants, have made the decision to loan out promising Ghanaian youngster Samuel Oppong to lower-tier club WE Sports Club (Telecom Egypt) for the remainder of the season.

Oppong, who is a highly-rated young player, will have the opportunity to continue his development at the Egyptian second division club until the end of the season.

He was one of the five Ghanaian players who recently underwent trials at Al Ahly. Out of the five, only Oppong and Reindorf Adom Sarbah were able to impress club legend Walid Suleiman and head of the youth team, securing a move to the club.

Oppong had initially signed a four and a half year deal with Al Ahly from EurAfrica for an undisclosed fee after a successful trial. However, the decision has been made to loan him out to the lower division club in order to further his development.
