Percy Tau, the South Africa international, has rejoined his teammates and will be available to play against Medeama in the upcoming CAF Champions League game. The crucial match is set to take place on Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Baba Yara Stadium in Ghana.

The Bafana Bafana poster boy trained with the rest of the team on Monday and Tuesday at Al Ahly complex in Gezira upon his return to the club. His presence will surely bolster the team as they strive for victory.

Tau played a significant role in helping the Bafana Bafana finish third at the recently concluded continental showpiece held in Ivory Coast. His experience and skill will be an asset to the team as they face off against Medeama.

Joining Tau in the South African team are Wessam Abou Ali and Ahmed Nabil Kouka, who are both recovering from injuries. Their return will certainly strengthen the team and provide more options for the coach.

The CAF Champions League was on a break due to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast but returns this weekend for the penultimate games at the group stage. Medeama, who are currently at the bottom of Group D with 4 points, will need to put in extra effort to progress to the next stage of the competition.

On the other hand, the Egyptian giants sit at the top of Group D with six points after their goalless draw with Algerian side CD Belouizdad last week. The stage is set for an exciting and intense battle between the two teams as they strive for a spot in the next stage of the tournament.
