Asante Kotoko mourns the passing of Access Bank’s CEO, Dr. Herbert Wigwe

The Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has expressed its deepest condolences following the passing of Dr. Herbert Wigwe, the Group Managing Director of Access Bank Plc.

In a statement released on Monday, February 12, the club extended its sympathies to Access Bank as one of its sponsors, as well as to the family, friends, and colleagues of the late Dr. Herbert Wigwe.

Dr. Herbert Wigwe tragically lost his life in a helicopter crash in the United States of America on Friday, February 9. He was among six individuals, including his wife and son, who were onboard the helicopter when the accident occurred.

Access Bank also released a statement announcing the passing of Dr. Wigwe, highlighting his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to social impact initiatives, which have left an indelible mark on Access Holdings and the communities they serve. The bank emphasized that Dr. Wigwe’s legacy will never be forgotten.
