Arsenal legend, Ian Wright has applauded the stellar performances of Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo in the English Premier League.
The young player, who hails from England but has Ghanaian heritage, has been making waves in recent weeks with his standout displays for the Red Devils.
Several pundits in England have not been shy to praise Mainoo and have even gone as far as calling for his inclusion in the next England squad.
This sentiment is echoed by Ian Wright, who expressed in a recent interview that Kobbie Mainoo deserves a spot in the next England squad.
Wright stated, “Kobbie Mainoo has to be in the next England squad. Such maturity in chaotic conditions that we’ve not seen from an England player in a long time. Impressed every time I watch him.”
Despite representing England in various U20 national teams, Kobbie Mainoo remains eligible to represent Ghana at the senior national team level.
