Antoine Semenyo, the talented Ghanaian international footballer, experienced a setback during Bournemouth’s match in the English Premier League.
Semenyo, who plays as a striker for the Black Stars, was named in the starting lineup for the game against Nottingham Forest at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday.
However, his participation was cut short when he sustained an injury and had to be substituted for Marcus Tavernier at halftime. The severity of the injury will be determined after he undergoes scans.
The match saw Bournemouth take an early lead with a goal from Dutch international Justin Kluivert within the first five minutes.
However, Nottingham Forest managed to equalize just before halftime through Callum Hudson-Odoi, leading to a 1-1 draw at the end of the match.
The anticipated clash ended with both teams sharing the points, as they failed to produce any additional goals in the second half.
