FC Samartex 1996 Aiming for Strong Performance in 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League Season
The Business Development Manager of FC Samartex 1996, Paul Anyaba, has revealed that the team’s main goal for the current Ghana Premier League season is to perform well, rather than focusing solely on winning the title.
After securing their 10th win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Accra Lions at the WAFA Park in Sogakpe, Anyaba expressed the club’s ambition to put up a commendable performance throughout the league campaign.
In an interview with Citi Sports, Anyaba emphasized, “It is our ambition to do well in the league. Since the beginning of the season, all the strategies we have put in place are aimed at ensuring the club performs well in every match. While winning the league would be a great achievement, it is not our primary target.”
With 32 points and sitting at the top of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League standings, FC Samartex 1996 will face Aduana Stars at the NANA AGYEMAN BADU PARK in Dormaa in their upcoming fixture on Monday.
