Ekow Vincent appointed Dep. Local Gov’t Minister

The Member of Parliament for Old Tafo in the Ashanti Region, Ekow Vincent Assafuah, has been appointed as the Deputy Minister for Local Government, Decentralization, and Rural Development in the latest reshuffle by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

At 30 years old, Ekow Assafuah is the youngest male Deputy Minister-designate, bringing a wealth of experience to the position. Before entering politics, he worked as a businessman and also served as the Public Relations Officer for the Ministry of Education.

Having entered Parliament in 2020, Ekow Vincent is set to contest the 2024 parliamentary elections, aiming to continue serving his constituency. During his time in Parliament, he has proven to be an influential member of the Education Committee.
