I can’t be a mate – Kennedy Agyapong on why he can’t be a vice president

Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, has declared that he has no interest in becoming Vice President of Ghana.

He explained that his nature as a vocal individual means he cannot be confined to the role of vice president, where he would not be able to express himself freely.

During an interview on Pan African Television with KSM, Kennedy Agyapong made it clear that he would never accept the position of vice president, stating, “I can never be a vice president because I will speak my mind, and I don’t want to be a mate.”

Kennedy Agyapong has previously expressed his support for Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh to be selected as the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He believes that the Energy Minister has a good reputation for working closely with party members and would be the right partner for the 2024 ticket.
