The Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s 2024 election campaign, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has disclosed that the party is set to unveil its 2024 manifesto to the Ghanaian populace in June this year. This announcement was made during an interview with Accra-based Asaase Radio on February 22.
Aboagye emphasized that the manifesto committee will align with the vision outlined by the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. He added that the committee members have already begun their tasks and are expected to utilize their expertise to contribute to the party’s advancement.
The committee has been entrusted with conducting a thorough review of the NPP’s previous manifestos from the 2016 and 2020 elections. The 2024 manifesto committee is led by Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, with Kojo Oppong Nkrumah serving as the vice-chairman and Evron Hughes appointed as the secretary.
Aboagye also highlighted that the manifesto committee will be guided by the mission of the vice-president and will engage extensively with stakeholders to gather feedback and inputs. He indicated that the NPP’s manifesto is expected in about three months’ time.
