The African Games, an event organized by the African Union every four years, brought together 5000 elite athletes and coaches from fifty-five African countries to compete in twenty-nine sports disciplines.
This year, the 13th edition of the games served as a qualifying event for the XXXIII Olympic Games Paris 2024.
