Iconic Afro-Dancehall sensation Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy, has once again made waves in the music industry by clinching the highly coveted Artiste of the Year award at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
The competition was tough, with notable Ghanaian music stars such as Kuami Eugene, King Promise, Sarkodie, Nacee, and Black Sherif vying for the title. However, Stonebwoy emerged victorious, solidifying his position as a powerhouse in the Ghanaian music scene.
This victory marks Stonebwoy’s second time winning the prestigious Artiste of the Year award, showcasing his undeniable talent and influence in the industry. With a total of eleven nominations, Stonebwoy took home six awards, making him the biggest winner of the night.
In addition to his impressive win, Stonebwoy now joins Sarkodie as one of the only two artists to have clinched the Artiste of The Year title twice since its inception in 1999. This accolade further cements his legacy in Ghanaian music history.
The 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards ceremony was held at the Grand Arena Of the International Conference Centre (AICC) on June 1, marking a memorable night for Stonebwoy and his fans.
