His debut album, titled ‘The Villain I Never Was’, which was released in October 2022, has now hit over a billion streams across various digital platforms.

Black Sherif has become the first Ghanaian artist to hit the billion streams mark, excluding figures from other platforms like Apple Music.

Some of the standout tracks from the album that contributed to this success include ‘Oil In My Head’, ‘45’, ‘Konongo Zongo’, ‘Soja’, ‘Kwaku the Traveller’, and the ‘Second Sermon Remix’.

This monumental achievement further cements Black Sherif’s position as a rising star in the music industry.
