A part of rapper Pappy Kojo’s brand identity is gone — it’s his dreadlocks.
The Takoradi native burst into the music scene sporting his famous long dreadlocks. And he has been rocking it for a decade in the Ghana music industry.
However, on Monday, June 26, Pappy Kojo shocked his fans when he shared a video on his Instagram story of himself getting a haircut.
It’s unclear why Pappy Kojo decided to get rid of his dreadlocks but it appears to us it might be a part of an incoming project. This has been the pattern in the music industry since the last decade.
A few weeks ago, he cleared his Instagram page of all the posts on it without explaining it to fans. And now, his famous dreadlocks are gone. We can decipher — it’s a clear strategy for a bigger project.
Some fans reacted to his new look. One Instagram user linked his new look to Yvonne Nelson’s new memoir ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.’
“I’M NOT PAPPY KOJO,” an Instagram user @qojo_jnr said. Another user @willey_falcon said: “Yvonne Nelson’s p@$$y must be real good to be turning guys nuts.”
