Sony Pictures has recently unveiled the trailer for the highly anticipated “Bad Boys 4,” starring the iconic duo of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The official title of the film is “Bad Boys: Ride or Die.”
This marks the fourth installment in the action-comedy franchise that first hit the screens in 1995, introducing audiences to the dynamic duo of Miami PD detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, portrayed by Smith and Lawrence, respectively.
The first two films were directed by Michael Bay, while Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah took the reins for the third installment, “Bad Boys for Life,” and are returning for this latest chapter.
Joining Smith and Lawrence in the cast are Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Núñez, Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, Jacob Scipio, Melanie Liburd, Tasha Smith, Rhea Seehorn, and Joe Pantoliano. Excitingly, Tiffany Haddish has been announced as part of the ensemble cast in an undisclosed role, forging a connection with the Smith family after her collaboration with Jada Pinkett Smith in the 2017 hit “Girls Trip.”
Following the success of “Bad Boys for Life,” which grossed $426.5 million worldwide before the pandemic, fans can expect a thrilling continuation of the story. The film is slated for a theatrical release on June 7, promising to deliver the same level of action, humor, and camaraderie that fans have come to love from the franchise.
