His obituary, which does not disclose the cause of his passing, has been shared on the Roberts Funerals website.

Describing Nyima as someone who lived life on his own terms, the obituary read: “Having lived fiercely, loved deeply, and made memories with the kind of fervor that only a young man who never met a stranger could do.”

“It wouldn’t have been unheard of to find Nyima with a stray animal he’d saved on the side of the road or calling his mom to ask about animal care tips,” the heartfelt tribute continued.

Known as a “boy of the world” with a passion for traveling and animals, Nyima was the only child of ’90s supermodel turned real estate agent Trish and Aaron Ward.

He leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered fondly by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In honor of Nyima’s memory, his family has requested donations to be made to The Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation in lieu of flowers.

Starting his modeling journey at the age of 18, Nyima made his mark in the industry, following in the footsteps of his parents.

Trish, who appeared in campaigns for designers like Chanel, Christian Dior, and YSL, transitioned from modeling to real estate and currently serves as the Global Advisor for Sotheby’s Realty.

Despite his young age, Nyima’s passion for modeling and love for family and friends shone brightly throughout his life, making a lasting impact on those around him.

Reflecting on his modeling career, Nyima shared with People how he came to choose the modeling path.

“Both of my parents were models. My dad did a few Calvin Klein campaigns back in the day,” he reminisced, adding, “And my mom started dating David Bonnouvrier, the owner of DNA Models.”

Describing his experience working on a shoot with his mother, Nyima fondly recalled, “We shot for American Vogue when I was 16 or 15.

And we got a cool shot. She was in a really crazy dress, and I was in a Ralph Lauren suit, and we were both floating in the air.”

“It was cool. We’ve shot a bunch of times when I was a kid, too,” he added, highlighting the cherished memories of working alongside his mother in the fashion world.
