Renowned Nollywood veteran, Pete Edochie, recently shared some powerful words on the importance of respecting women.

As he celebrated his 77th birthday coinciding with International Women’s Day, Edochie emphasized that men who resort to violence against women are a disgrace to manhood.

In his statement, Edochie highlighted the significant role that women play in society, noting that a house truly becomes a home only when a woman is present.

He also pointed out that a woman’s strength lies not in physical power but in her words.

Furthermore, Edochie admonished men, stating that using violence against a woman due to provocation strips a man of his claim to true manhood.

He emphasized that a man capable of harmonious relations with a woman possesses the qualities of leadership and can govern not only local communities but entire nations.
