It’s been just over three years since Lynda Carter lost her husband, Robert Altman, to a rare form of leukemia. The original “Wonder Woman” is still grieving and finding ways to honor her late husband.

While known for her role as “Wonder Woman,” Carter is also a singer. She recently penned a new song titled “Letters from Earth” as a tribute to Altman. The song reflects on the void left by his passing and the enduring love they shared.

Carter expressed, “The soul of the song is about how you miss a person so much, because they’re such a presence in your life that it’s almost impossible to imagine that you won’t physically see them again in this life.”

Valentine’s Day saw the announcement of Carter’s new single, further showcasing her musical talent that preceded her acting career.

Reflecting on her life with Altman, Carter shared, “He was the great love of my life. We did fun things and we laughed and laughed. We had children, wonderful friends. We went through some serious things but life was an adventure with him.”

Altman, a video game executive and lawyer, was married to Carter since 1984. The couple had two children together, James and Jessica.
