Renowned TV personality and former host of The Weakest Link, Anne Robinson, has confirmed her relationship with Andrew Parker Bowles, the ex-husband of the Queen’s daughter-in-law, Camilla.
The couple, with an age gap of five years, were reported to be dating towards the end of last year.
In an interview with Saga magazine, Robinson openly confirmed their relationship, stating, “Yes. Full stop. Mind your own business.” This revelation comes as Robinson is set to take on the role of the publication’s agony aunt from the upcoming June issue.
Reflecting on re-entering the dating scene in her 70s after being single for over a decade, Robinson shared her perspective on taking risks and surprising oneself. She expressed her belief in the importance of venturing into new experiences, both personally and professionally, even if it means facing potential challenges.
Robinson also highlighted the ease of dating in older age, noting that one becomes more selective about what truly matters and is less likely to be deeply affected by trivial issues. Known for her sharp wit and famous catchphrase, “You are the weakest link, goodbye,” Robinson gained fame as the host of the quiz show The Weakest Link from 2000 to 2012.
Prior to her role on The Weakest Link, Robinson made history as the first female host of Channel 4’s Countdown, ultimately hosting 265 episodes before stepping down in 2022.
This latest development in Robinson’s personal life has sparked interest and curiosity among fans and followers of the beloved TV personality.
