Local Los Angeles makeup artist Allie Shehorn recently survived a brutal attack by her ex-boyfriend just days after being granted a temporary restraining order.
Shehorn, who has worked on numerous films and TV shows, was allegedly stabbed over 20 times by Nicholas Pasqual in her own home. Pasqual, an actor, then tried to flee to Mexico but was apprehended at the US-Mexico border.
Shehorn, a seasoned makeup and special effects artist, has over 100 credits to her name and is known for her work on popular TV shows and films. Her friends and family describe her as a warm and compassionate person who is loved by many.
The attack on Shehorn took place on May 23, 2024, leaving her with severe injuries. However, she has shown remarkable progress in her recovery, having been transferred out of the ICU and even joking around with friends. A GoFundMe page set up for her has already raised close to $100,000 from generous donors.
Nicholas Pasqual, Shehorn’s ex-boyfriend, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, burglary, and other offenses. The Los Angeles Police Department is continuing its investigation into the incident.
District Attorney George Gascón has expressed his support for Shehorn and emphasized the importance of holding the perpetrator accountable for his actions.
