Declared deceased at 10:36 am on Sunday, February 20, the Assistant West London Coroner Ivor Collett later confirmed that Mr. Edwards died from a cardiac arrest triggered by a combination of cocaine and alcohol.

Upon returning home after a DJ set, Jamal exhibited signs of anxiety, paranoia, and irritation, leading to a fatal cardiac arrhythmia induced by cocaine toxicity.
