Ghanian singer KiDi has announced that he will be dropping a new single, “Danger.” This announcement comes nearly a year after the release of his collaboration with Stonebwoy, “Likor,” which dominated a large part of the last year.
The much-anticipated single is set for release on February 29, 2024, and fans are already eagerly awaiting the debut after an almost year-long musical hiatus due to personal health challenges faced by the artist, causing him to cancel performances and put his music career on hold.
KiDi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his supporters for standing by him during his difficult times, just before announcing his new single.
In a sneak peek of “Danger,” he garnered attention from former French Ambassador to Ghana, Anne Sophie Ave, who expressed her admiration for the up-and-coming single, stating that she would select the singer if she were a part of an international record label.
The news of KiDi’s new single sent fans into a frenzy, with many expressing their eagerness to get their hands on it. One Twitter user wrote, “Naaaa this song dey slap la. We are waiting for it.”
The announcement has left many looking forward to the new single, after a successful run of hits starting from “Likor” last year, particularly given the challenges the singer had faced. With so much anticipation building up, fans of KiDi are already expressing their hope for an upcoming album.
This announcement comes after a recent celebration of his 30th birthday, marked by an impressive music video for “Likor,” which showcased the singer’s recovery from his health scare, leaving fans even more excited for his latest single.
