President of Beyond Kontrol, Samuel Adu, who is popularly known as Medikal, has come out to publicly reveal that he has split from his wife, Fella Makafui.
This announcement was triggered by a supporter who called on other fans and music lovers to show support for Medikal’s career. The supporter mentioned Fella Makafui in the post, prompting a swift response from the rapper.
Taking to the microblogging platform formerly known as Twitter, Medikal clarified that he is no longer with Fella Makafui and that they are currently separated. He emphasized that they are now focused on co-parenting their daughter, Island Frimpong.

The couple got married in 2020, but speculation about their separation started circulating in 2023 without any public confirmation from either party.
Recent observations indicate that both Medikal and Fella Makafui have unfollowed each other on Instagram. Fella Makafui has also made changes to her Instagram username, removing “Mrs. Frimpong.”
Furthermore, a recent post on the microblogging platform X, dated Saturday, March 30, revealed that Fella Makafui has blocked Medikal. In response, Medikal has announced that he will address all matters concerning his marriage on his Snapchat story at 6 pm Greenwich Mean Time on Sunday.
Some skeptics, however, have raised doubts about the timing of this revelation, suggesting that it could be a strategic move to generate buzz ahead of Medikal’s upcoming concert at Indigo O2.
