Nana Appiah Mensah, also known as NAM1, has shared his perspective on the recent leaked video involving journalist Serwaa Amihere, expressing his belief that there is nothing wrong with cherishing intimate moments with a partner.
The controversial video has sparked criticism towards Serwaa, but NAM1 diverges from the negative opinions, stating that it is common for couples to capture and value such moments. He believes that it is normal for individuals to share intimate content with their trusted partners.
Taking to Twitter, NAM1 questioned the stigma around sharing erotic moments in a relationship, asking, “Why do we take photos & videos? Is it not to have and to hold cherished & priceless moments? Just so, we can relive the moments which cannot easily be re-enacted?”
The video in question features Serwaa Amihere and her ex-partner, Henry Fitz, in an intimate setting. Fitz has since clarified that the video was sent to him by Serwaa and denied any involvement in its leakage.
The situation took a legal turn when Serwaa’s makeup artist was approached with demands for payment to prevent the video’s dissemination. Despite complying with the initial demands, the video was still released, prompting Serwaa to report the incident to the authorities.
As investigations continue, the police are working to apprehend Henry Fitz, who is currently at large. The incident has raised questions about privacy and the handling of intimate moments in relationships.
