Ghanaian actor Kwaku Manu has recently spoken out in support of Funny Face’s ex-girlfriend amidst accusations made by the comedian against her character.
In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Kwaku Manu revealed that Vanessa has been the main caregiver for the children she shares with Funny Face for the past four years, without any financial support from the comedian during their separation.
Kwaku Manu expressed his concern over Funny Face continuously vilifying his baby mama on social media, making allegations such as claims that she has separated him from his children. Despite Vanessa’s efforts in providing for their children’s basic needs and managing their day-to-day care, Funny Face has not made sufficient efforts to visit his children in the Ashanti Region where they reside.
The Kumawood actor emphasized the importance of prioritizing the children’s interests and future, urging Funny Face to put his personal interests aside and focus on maintaining a relationship with his children. He also mentioned facilitating a temporary reunion between Funny Face and his children in 2021 when the comedian was hospitalized.
Furthermore, Kwaku Manu pleaded with Funny Face to get his life together and warned that the public’s support might wane if he doesn’t change his ways. The actor highlighted the need for Funny Face to make genuine efforts to see his children and maintain a healthy relationship with them.
This follows Funny Face’s recent involvement in a car accident in Kakraba, Kasoa, where he hit four people, resulting in one person being in a coma and the other three receiving treatment at the Winneba Trauma Centre.
Despite these challenges, Kwaku Manu continues to advocate for a harmonious co-parenting relationship between Funny Face and Vanessa for the well-being of their children.
