Ghanaian footballer Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has shared his joy after contributing to Leicester City’s 2-1 victory against Watford in the English Championship on Saturday.
The 19-year-old provided an assist as Leicester City continues to position themselves favorably for a quick return to the Premier League next season.
After the game, Fatawu took to Instagram to express his gratitude for the win, saying, “Alhamdulillah, great win lads 🙏🏾lovely support from the fans as always we keep going 🙏🏾🙏🏾👊🏾👊🏾.”
Fatawu Issahaku started the game at Vicarage Road and played for 83 minutes.
Patson Daka and Ricardo Pereira both scored to lead Leicester City to a convincing victory.
Zambian international Patson Daka opened the scoring by converting a penalty with a right-footed shot to the bottom left corner in the 11th minute.
In the 55th minute, Ricardo Pereira’s right-footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom left corner gave the away side their second goal. Fatawu Issahaku assisted Ricardo Pereira’s goal.
Nigerian striker Emmanuel Dennis pulled one back for Watford in the 63rd minute.
Fatawu Issahaku has made 25 appearances, scored two goals, and provided nine assists in the Championship this season.
