In a recent interactive media session at Kumasi’s Lancaster Hotel, Kurt Okraku, the President of the Ghana Football Association, has emphasized the nation’s commitment to achieving top-tier performances from both national teams and domestic clubs

Expressing concerns over Ghana’s underwhelming performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and the general state of football in the country, Okraku stressed the significance of high-quality football and securing victories.

Ghana departed the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast with just two points. This marks the second consecutive early exit for the senior national team after their disappointing showing in Cameroon. In the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, Ghana managed to secure only one point.

“We are eager to witness our Black Stars and all our national teams playing exceptional football and emerging victorious, as well as all our local clubs. How can we achieve this? How can we make it happen?” he inquired.

“The process entails the discussions we are having today. It is about engaging with others, exchanging ideas, and receiving feedback to ensure we are well-prepared to implement the concepts and strategies that will reignite passion for football,” he added.
