Nicki Minaj, the acclaimed rapper, has issued an apology to her fans in Manchester after having to postpone a scheduled concert following her recent arrest in the Netherlands.

The 41-year-old artist was set to perform at the Co-op Live arena on Saturday but was detained on suspicion of drug trafficking, resulting in the cancellation of the show.

However, she has reassured fans that the concert has been rescheduled for next Monday, with hopes that they can attend the new date.

After being fined €350 and cleared to continue her travels, Minaj took to social media to express her regret for the inconvenience caused by the postponement. She also thanked Ticketmaster for their handling of the situation, describing them as a “class act.” The rapper revealed that she spent several hours in custody before being permitted to depart from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.

Dutch authorities mentioned that Minaj was found in possession of 30 to 100 grams of cannabis, although she stated that the substances belonged to her security personnel. Despite the country’s laws against drug possession, the Netherlands adopts a lenient stance towards the use and possession of small quantities of certain drugs.

Minaj, known for hits like “Super Bass,” remains optimistic, stating, “I’ll have the lawyers and god take it from here tho.” She emphasized her resilience in the face of adversity, noting that “this too shall pass.” Despite the setback in Manchester, the artist proceeded with her Pink Friday 2 world tour in Birmingham the following day.
