Following Cassie filing a lawsuit accusing Diddy of various crimes, including abuse and human trafficking, the two reached an agreement and settled for an undisclosed sum of money. Despite the undeniable video evidence of domestic violence and ongoing lawsuits, Diddy failed to mention Cassie by name in his apology video.
According to TMZ, a strict non-disclosure agreement prohibits either party from mentioning the other publicly, explaining Cassie’s silence on social media. Diddy’s attorneys ensured that his apology video, which he supposedly initiated, complied with the terms of the settlement.
However, Cassie’s husband, Alex Fine, did not remain silent. On the day the incriminating footage surfaced, Fine, who has been married to Cassie since 2019, stated that “men who hit women aren’t men.”
