Several former cast members from the hit show Dance Moms are set to reunite on a new Lifetime TV special. However, fans quickly noticed that three prominent dancers from the show were missing from the lineup – Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler, as well as Nia Sioux.

Although the three have not publicly commented on their absence, they have previously shared their experiences on the show. Maddie Ziegler, in an interview with Teen Vogue, credited Dance Moms for helping her find success and love for acting in music videos, including her opportunity with Sia. Nia Sioux, in a TikTok post, mentioned being the only Black girl on the show and alluded to struggles with bullying.

The controversial dance teacher, Abby Lee Miller, was also not invited back to the reunion. However, fans can still look forward to seeing original cast members like Chloe Lukasiak and sisters Brooke and Paige Hyland, along with JoJo Siwa and others. JoJo Siwa expressed disappointment over the absence of her former co-stars, suggesting it was an attempt to erase their past.
