The renowned leader of The New Force, Cheddar, also known as Nana Kwame Bediako, has recently shed light on the challenges he has faced in owning his tigers.
Despite facing criticisms, Cheddar opened up about the difficulties he encountered in finding suitable habitats for his majestic animals. The Forestry Commission attempted to take his tigers away, but they struggled to locate appropriate land for them.
In response, Bediako took matters into his own hands and set up a well-equipped zoo behind his residence to ensure the safety and comfort of his tigers. It took him a dedicated nine months to complete this establishment.
The upkeep of these magnificent creatures comes at a significant cost, as Bediako revealed that he feeds his tigers a cow every three days to prevent any potential attacks on humans.
“The Forestry Commission had to return my tigers because they couldn’t find a suitable place for them. They are expensive to maintain, and I have invested in the necessary facilities to house them. It was a nine-month process to complete my zoo, and the expenses are high to care for these animals,” elaborated Nana Kwame Bediako.
