I messed everything up, I don’t blame anybody for my troubles but myself – Funny Face

Ghanaian comic actor Funny Face has publicly expressed regret for his recent actions and acknowledged his mistakes, signaling his readiness to turn over a new leaf.

In an exclusive interview on Kofi TV, Funny Face took full responsibility for the troubles he has faced, admitting, “I don’t blame anybody for my troubles but myself. I messed everything up.”

He passionately appealed to Ghanaians for a second chance, asking for forgiveness and expressing his desire to move forward positively.

Funny Face has been granted bail after a near-fatal accident in Kasoa. The incident took place on Sunday, March 24, 2023, around 8 pm, when Funny Face’s car struck several pedestrians at Kasoa’s Kakraba Junction, injuring three people in the process. Following the accident, Funny Face was arrested and held in police custody.

The actor appeared in court on March 26, 2024, at the Kasoa-Akweley District Court where he was remanded for two weeks. The Court granted him bail on Tuesday, April 9, in the sum of GHC120,000 with two sureties. He is expected to reappear in court in four weeks as investigations into the accident continue.

According to GhanaWeekend’s investigations, two of the victims are currently receiving treatment at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, while the remaining two are being cared for at the Mother and Child Hospital in Kasoa.
