MTN Ghana apologizes to customers for service interruption, blames it on undersea cable cut

Telecommunication giant MTN Ghana has apologized to its numerous customers over interruption in both call and data services.

In a broadcast message distributed to its customer on Thursday, March, 14, 2024, MTN explained that the technical challenge being faced was as a result of its undersea cables malfunctioning.

MTN therefore assured its cherished customers that its international and local technical teams are working to fix the challenge as soon as possible, and apologized for any inconvenience caused.

“MTN Ghana apologizes for challenges you may be experiencing in accessing data services and reaching our call center. This is due to a disruption on our international undersea cables,” the broadcast message said.

“Our technical teams are working with our international partners to resolve the issue. we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and will keep you updated. Thank you,” the message added.

Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN), is the largest provider of communication service across Africa with over million subscribers.
