Former great Olympics forward Maxwell Abbey Quaye joins Saudi club Al Tehami

Maxwell Abbey Quaye, the talented Ghanaian forward, has officially signed with Saudi Arabian fourth-tier team Al Tehami SC.

The former Great Olympic star has inked a contract that will see him with the club until the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.

The strong and skilled forward is being counted on to assist the club in achieving promotion to the third division by the end of the season.

Quaye expressed his excitement about the new opportunity, stating “Delighted to be here,” as he completed his move to the Saudi club.

After representing Ghana in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, Quaye left Great Olympics in February 2023 to join Duhok in Iraq, and later signed on with Al Sinaa.

Throughout his time in the Ghana Premier League, the 25-year-old showcased his scoring prowess by netting 23 goals in 61 appearances for the Accra-based club.

Now, as he embarks on this new chapter with Al Tehami SC, all eyes will be on Quaye as he looks to make his mark and continue his impressive football journey in Saudi Arabia.
