He also expressed support for the 15-point petition made by the leaders of the #SaveGhanaFootball movement, deeming it as a necessary step towards making football better in the nation.

The former midfielder highlighted the current state of Ghanaian football, stating that only the Black Queens are currently a source of joy, while all other national teams are not performing up to standard.

Additionally, Agyemang-Badu emphasized the importance of investing in grassroots football, citing his own experience of being discovered through inter-schools, along with the likes of Samuel Inkoom, Abeiku Quansah, Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, and Asamoah Gyan, who all rose from grassroots football.

He stressed the need for leaders to pay attention to grassroots football, as it has been the birthplace of many of Ghana’s football stars, and he believes that it is a great idea to suggest investing in this area.
