The upcoming CAF Champions League match between Medeama SC and Al Ahly of Egypt will be officiated by Gabonese referee Tanguy Patrice Mebiame. The 31-year old official will be assisted by Elvis Guy Noupue Nguegoue from Cameroon, Urbain Ondo Ndong from Gabon, and Cregue Fleury Moukagni from Gabon as the fourth official.
Alhaji Babagana Kalli from Nigeria has been appointed as the Match Commissioner, with other officials including Shantali Shuaibu Aminu as the Referee Assessor from Nigeria, Nasiru Sarkintudu Jibril as the General Coordinator from Nigeria, Sannie Ibrahim Daara as the Media Officer from Ghana, and Queen Wutdeama Otarakpo as the Security Officer from Nigeria.
The game will take place at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, as the CAF Champions League returns following a break due to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. Medeama, currently at the bottom of Group D with 4 points, will need to deliver an exceptional performance in order to progress to the next stage of the competition.
