Hearts of Oak, one of the most respected clubs in Ghana, is reportedly making changes to its coaching staff ahead of the second round of the Ghana Premier League.

The team has already appointed Aboubakar Ouattara as head coach, and now reports suggest that Christopher Ennin, the current coach of Berekum Chelsea, is being targeted as the new assistant coach.

The decision to make changes in the technical team comes as the team prepares to begin the second half of the campaign this weekend.

The local media has reported that Hearts of Oak is in discussions with Ennin and is looking to bring him on board to fill the assistant coach role, following the departure of Rahim Bashiru, who previously served as assistant to Martin Koopman.

Ennin has had a successful stint at Berekum Chelsea, and his impressive track record has caught the attention of Hearts of Oak.

In the first half of the Ghana Premier League, he managed to secure eight wins, three draws, and suffered six defeats in the 17 games he coached.
