Let’s support women’s football – Black Queens’ Azumah Bugre urges Ghanaians

Black Queens midfielder, Azumah Bugre, is calling for support for women’s football in Ghana.

Bugre believes that encouraging women’s football is crucial for the success of female athletes in the sport.

Speaking on the website of the Ghana Football Association, Bugre urged Ghanaians and football fans to show their support for the Black Queens as they gear up to face Zambia in the Olympic qualifications on February 23.

“I believe with your prayers and support, the Black Queens will emerge victorious. Let’s continue to watch women’s football and encourage its growth in the country. Together, we can make a difference,” Bugre stated.

Bugre is expected to be a key player for the Black Queens in the upcoming match against Zambia as they seek to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games.

The first leg of the qualifiers is scheduled for February 23.
